"Hey! Just wanted to give you an update: the veil looks stunning, I can't wait to wear it next week 😊"
I received this message a month ago, and my heart just melted. But let me tell you the story behind it.
My client had ordered a colored tulle veil. Beautiful choice. But here's where it gets interesting – I asked her in time if she could show me a photo of her dress so I could match the color more precisely.
When I saw her dress, I realized two things: the standard color she'd initially chosen wouldn't do it justice, and creating a veil for such a stunning gown was a responsibility I didn't take lightly. This wasn't just any dress – it was an intricate floral masterpiece that deserved a veil that would enhance, not compete.

So I had the pleasure of playing with dyes: a touch of beige, a bit of salmon, a few drops of antique gold. Mixing, testing, adjusting until it felt just right. Each test was another step closer to honoring that beautiful dress.
We live among people, and we buy from people. This kind of relationship between client and maker – where communication flows, where we take that extra step to get things just right – that's the holy grail that makes something truly special.
Because sometimes, the most beautiful moments in business aren't about the perfect product. They're about the connection that makes that product perfect for this person, for their day, for their story.
Jodie and Gerwin – thank you for letting me be part of your story. Here's to a lifetime of adventures together!
