Modern Look to Timeless Fashion History

I don’t create decorations. I create thresholds.

My name is Vaida, and I founded Floraljewellery in 2009. My path wasn’t linear—it led me from a degree in Economics and years in banking back to the ancient looms of my grandmother. She was a master weaver who taught me that a piece of fabric isn’t just a material; it’s a vessel for memory and a witness to history.

Today, in my studio in Lithuania, I keep her 80-year-old cotton tulle wedding veil. It is my daily reminder that true craftsmanship must survive decades, not just a single evening.

The Studio: A Family Craft

Floraljewellery is a slow, intentional collaboration between my creative vision and my husband’s technical expertise. While I design and craft the delicate details, my husband handles the vital structural elements—precisely cutting the delicate tulles and soldering the brass foundations that give our pieces their enduring strength.

The Art of the Material

We don’t follow trends; we follow the logic of the material and the weight of history. Every piece is a result of thoughtful engineering and rare, traditional techniques:

  • Millinery & Somebana: I create silk flowers using ancient Japanese and European techniques, where petals are hand-shaped to achieve a poetic, lifelike metamorphosis.

  • Refined Materials: We work with genuine brass, high-quality pearls, and vintage crystals. We select only the finest textiles, from authentic English tulle to exquisite Italian tulles, renowned for their weightless elegance and superior drape.

  • Intentionality: We make each piece as if it were the only one in the world. No mass production. No shortcuts.
