ANTHEMON II is a large, handcrafted silk chrysanthemum in pure ivory, made petal by petal in my studio in Lithuania.

The flower is made from silk pongee using traditional Japanese Somebana techniques. Each petal is individually shaped with heated flower-making tools to create the chrysanthemum's full, sculptural form.

Its pure ivory shade is a soft, clean warm white, without pronounced yellow or beige undertones. The flower measures approximately 4.7 inches (12 cm) across and is lightweight despite its size.

Fastening Options
• Choose a brooch pin for wearing ANTHEMON on a jacket, coat or dress, or a combined brooch pin and alligator clip if you would also like to wear it in your hair.
• A magnetic fastening is available if you prefer not to pierce the fabric. Its suitability depends on the garment's thickness and construction.

How to Wear
ANTHEMON II can be worn on a bridal jacket, tailored wedding suit, dress or coat. Its generous size also makes it suitable as a statement hair flower or an accessory for formal and everyday clothing.

Custom Color
The flower can also be made in another color. Select Custom and send me your preferred shade or a fabric reference. Each flower is dyed and shaped by hand, so subtle tonal differences are natural. Exact color matching from photographs or screens cannot be guaranteed.

Care
Do not wash, iron or dry clean. Protect the silk from water, perfume and hairspray. Store the flower in a spacious box, away from moisture and direct sunlight, without compressing the petals.

Will the delicate, curled silk petals lose their shape during shipping or if it gets humid?
No. During the Somebana process, the raw silk is treated with a specialized, invisible stiffening agent before being sculpted with heated brass tools. This permanently locks the memory of the curve into the fabric fibers. It will easily withstand normal humidity and long wear. To protect its shape during travel, it arrives in a rigid, premium storage box.

The flower is quite large (12 cm). Is the magnetic option strong enough to hold it?
Yes. For our large statement pieces, we upgrade the clasp to a heavy-duty, double-strength neodymium magnet system. It safely pinches the fabric between two powerful plates, ensuring the flower remains completely upright and stable on silk dresses or wool blazers, without dropping or sagging.
